Vice President of Global Corporate Communications | Integrated DNA Technologies

Gwen Rosenberg is Vice President of Global Corporate Communications, Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of nucleic acid products for the life sciences industry.


Gwen is also President of Rosenberg Business Communications, which specializes in Investor Relations/Public Relations, strategic planning, crisis management, and preparation of corporate and scientific documents.

Prior to joining IDT, Gwen was Vice President, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications, at Senomyx, Inc., where her responsibilities included interacting with investors, the media, community organizations, and employees.  She previously served as Vice President, Corporate Communications at Alliance Pharmaceutical Corp. and Senior Director, Investor Relations at Memec, LLC, a global semiconductor distributor.

Gwen has held research scientist positions at the University of California, San Diego Department of Medicine as well as the Scripps Clinic & Research Foundation Department of Immunopathology.  She was concurrently the “Medtech Transactions” reporter for the San Diego Daily Transcript, and taught the UCSD Extended Studies “Writing for the Biotech Industry” course. She has authored scientific papers and is an inventor on several patents.

Gwen has been recognized by industry and peer groups for expertise with communications and crisis management.  She was awarded Best Communications with Retail Investors by Investor Relations Magazine, was named the BioFusion IR /PR Leader of the Year, was awarded a National Investor Relations Institute Annual Scholarship, received a YWCA TWIN (Tribute to Women and Industry) Award, and was acknowledged in the San Diego Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business Awards.”

Ms. Rosenberg received B.A. cum laude and M.A. degrees from Adelphi University and The State University of New York at Stony Brook, respectively.  She was a founder of the San Diego Science Alliance and is a graduate of LEAD San Diego.  Her Boards of Directors service includes CONNECT San Diego, the San Diego chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute, and the San Diego Crime Victims Fund.
