Let's talk about the team and you: This Payroll Analyst will be responsible for performing a variety of payroll analyst duties relating to auditing of payroll transactions, developing and streamlining processes, as well as training administrators on new system enhancements. This role will function as the gatekeeper and guide between payroll and all other departments in the organization. They will collaborate with IT department, Finance, HR, and other business units as needed, while assisting payroll administrators with root case analysis. Let’s talk about Responsibilities : Partner with IT, business partners and vendors to research system ability for automation Identify and prioritize improvements to systems and processes System liaison on project teams and internal stakeholders within department Perform audits to identify gaps in employee information throughout various systems Make decisions and use independent judgment to provide direction to payroll administrators on day to day transactions Assist Payroll Manager with acquisitions and system conversions Prepare quarterly audits on stock, benefits, and tax Maintain system interfaces Responsible for system maintenance and periodic updates Develop SOPs and training documents Maintain all department requests, records, databases, files, forms in an organized and secure manner Create, update and run accurate and timely system reports for business users, accounting and management Review and audit system processes and calculations based on SOX compliance to ensure accuracy of system data. Support in the development and management of payroll metrics Support administrators in analyzing data Assist with tax agency notices Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, will accept experience in lieu of a degree Minimum 10 years of Payroll experience in similar industry Minimum 3 years of experience working with Payroll systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Vizio and Project Experience using ADP Workforce Now’s payroll system is required Advanced in Microsoft Excel (Ability to perform, pivot tables, v-lookups & complex formulas) Ability to adapt to situations and make a fast analysis to solve problems Strong focus on customer-service including outstanding interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and follow through. Ability to work as a team member with the ability to flex with changing priorities based on business needs. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
