President's Awards
The Chairman’s Award is a merit-based award created to honor those who have made significant and lasting contributions to Athena San Diego and/or the San Diego Community in:
- membership or sponsorship growth
- development of programs
- new strategies and initiatives
Individuals chosen for this special award are exemplary models who support and execute Athena San Diego’s mission and goals. This is not an annual award but is given when a deserving candidate has been identified.
Eligible candidates are Athena San Diego members or community leaders who demonstrate outstanding support of Athena’s mission through their leadership and actions. Nominations can come from the Athena board or by members at large (via an e-mail to the Athena San Diego Board Chairman).
