One out of five Athena San Diego members belongs to FEW. Each FEW group, composed of 8 to 10 women, agree to commit time and energy by meeting on a regular basis for peer mentorship, friendship, and support in all aspects of their personal and career development.

FEW Placement Application Criteria:

1. Current member of Athena in good standing
   • Executive members
   • Associate members with the following:
     • Minimum of five years professional experience;
     • On an executive track for advancement; and
     • Written endorsement from an Executive level Athena member confirming that the Associate member qualifies for FEW based on the criteria set forth above.
2. Able to commit your time to the group. Most groups have a standing monthly meeting that lasts 1.5-2 hours.
